Dear KGC Members,

This is the second notice of the AGM for the Karori Golf Club

The AGM will be held on 6 Dec 2025, at 9.30am at the Clubhouse, Karori Golf Club.

Minutes of the 2024 Annual General Meeting and nominations for officers and committee have already been sent, as has a copy of the proposed rules to be approved so that the Karori Golf Club can continue to be registered as an incorporated society (as well as a registered charity).

Attached with this notice are the Annual Accounts, The President's Annual Report, and Notices of Motion.

Once again I would encourage all members to consider making themselves available for office. Nomination forms were previously circulated and these are posted on the notice board by the water cooler in the downstairs foyer.

Please note the closing date for nominations and ensure any nomination has a nominator and a seconder, and that you have signed your acceptance.

All nominations are to be handed to Club Manager, Clayton Willocks, by 29 November 2025.

At the conclusion of the meeting, an AGM Special Stableford Competition will be held.  It is expected that this will tee off at around 11am. Everyone welcome.

Thank you,
Mark Peck
President

Attached: a) AGM Agenda; b) Annual Accounts; c) Presidents Annual Report; d) Notice of Motion.

Notice of Motion:

That the incoming committee seriously consider the desirability of replacing the bridge over the creek in the middle of number 12 fairway with a new bridge or culvert, as soon as possible.

This AGM recommends that this option is viewed favourably.

Proposed: J Waters; Seconded: B Cavana

Rationale: There is a drive to maintain pace of play. The absence of the bridge requires most groups to go down across the bridge on the path and if the ball is short they need to come back up the hill and start looking.

It is dangerous walking down the deep slope, especially after rain, to the metal pathway on the left hand side of the fairway.

It is far more efficient to go down and walk/drive from the bottom towards the "bunkers".

Note also that the front of the fairway, even short of the creek, is a likely bail out area if playing on the blue tees and crossing the stream at the bottom then is very efficient.

After the bridge is reinstated it will be safer and quicker to complete the 12th hole.
