Wednesday Club

Seventeen golfers battled blustery conditions in the Par competition on Wednesday. The winner was Derek Fitzgibbon (+3) from Michael Cox and Luke Underwood (+2). Alex Lim also got a ball for +1. Patrick Cordue was nearest the pin on the 4th, but the twos were recorded by Mark Peck and Alex Lim on the 6th. Malcolm McAlister won the raffle with Marcosa Santos second. As usual, the free chocolates were appreciated. (Cheers Patrick)

Wednesday Twilight

Week four of the Twilight season saw 27 golfers come out to play in a strong Makara breeze. Tied for first place this week were Andrew Gardiner and Russell Dickson on 20 stableford points, second place went to Tim Brosnahan on 19 points, with Daren Riley and Sam Julian coming third on 18 points. Sam Gardiner took out the NTP and we had two 'twos' this evening from John McDonald (from Boulcott Farm) and Russell Dickson. A prize also went to Tim Brosnahan for his eagle on hole #7.

Thanks to all our helpers, particularly John Stubbe (supervised by Phil Apperley) on the BBQ this week, and to Karen and Brigitte for their great salads. See you all next week for another evening of social/fun golf and dinner. (Cheers Gail)

Term 4 Junior Coaching Programme

The 8-week Junior Coaching Programme started back last Sunday and it was lots of fun! Over 70 excited juniors took to the practice area and fairways to hone their golfing talent. Just a reminder that the priority on the practice area (fairway and/or putting green) will be for programme participants between 12 - 3pm on Sundays. The junior programme course bookings are loaded on the start sheet.
