The stormy weather caused some havoc these last couple of days. As you can see from the images below, we'd love a healthy turnout of volunteers this Tuesday. Tomorrow we host our Div 12 Team and a Duncan Cup Playoff Match between Miramar & Judgeford - all the best to those competing. On Sunday we host the Makara Trophy - entries are still open. On Monday, we host the 9H Women's Inter Club. It's a multi-tee start at 10am, so the course will be closed from 7:45am - 1:00pm, with only 9H bookings allowed prior to 7:45am.

Makara Trophy

Calling for entries. It's a fun, Married at First Sight Karori Golf Club (otherwise known as the Makara Trophy). Enter online Event calendar - Karori Golf Club then turn up on Sunday. Play as usual BUT what happens is you will be randomly teamed with a partner in a 4BBB stableford event. So the best stableford score on each hole by either of you is added to reach a total. At the end of Sunday there will be a great reveal, who your partner was and how well you did together.

Ladies

9H Ladies: We had a lively turnout, all hoping to get in 9 holes and beat the gloomy forecast. Our competition was Putting Round 3. Congratulations to Trish Titcombe who had 15 putts, Elizabeth Wagner who had 16 and four of us with 17 putts. We are hosting 48 x 9 Hole Inter Club players on Monday, hoping the weather gods help our greenkeepers dry out the course. A big thank you to Hilary Newby who is organising this for the club. (Cheers Chris).

9H Inter Club: We played our 8th game of Inter Club on Monday at Masterton Golf Club. The four of us went up on Sunday and had a pleasant evening before the game. We drew 2-2 and are now sitting 4th equal on the table. (Cheers Hilary)

Junior Only Tee Times - Start this Sunday!!!

Two tee slots have been booked specifically for junior members at 11:33am & 11:40am from this Sunday. All junior members are invited, and encouraged to turn-up and play together. This will initially be a 4-week trial and, if successful, will continue through Terms 2 and 3. 

What To Do:

• Book online for a tee time at either 11.33am or 11.40am. If these fill up we will open more times.
• Turn up at least 10 minutes before your start time  to print out a score card and have a chat with Stephen.

Calling All Volunteers

As you can see, the wind and rain has caused a bit of havoc around the course so there's plenty of remediation work required. If you have the time please contact president@karorigolf.co.nz and he will add you to the list of volunteers. Details for the next working bee are:
