The greens are now cored, seeded and sanded! We are eternally grateful for our dedicated group of volunteers who toiled away making sure quality of our greens continues to improve. The end of daylight savings sees the end of Wednesday Twilight and the Sunday Junior Coaching Programme. It was wonderful to welcome new Junior members from the programme, and see their parents take advantage of our family bundle offer.

Ladies

9H Ladies: Tuesday the ladies played the second round of the club championships. The other players played a par round won by Lindsay Pickering. (Cheers Karen).

9H Inter Club: On Thursday we played against Miramar at Waikanae Golf Course and had a 2.5/1.5 win. It was a gorgeous day and the course was in great condition. (Cheers Hilary).

Beginner Ladies Coaching: The beginner ladies will be having their final chipping session on the practice green at 3:00 PM this Saturday, 12th April (for one hour).  This will be followed by a short Ambrose game at 4:00 PM on the front nine.

Wednesday Club

16 stalwarts navigated with varying success the recently cored and in some cases sanded greens for a Stableford round of the Wednesday Club. There were no twos and no NTP. I was hoping for a ball for most golf to replace the 4 I lost in my round but found 3 others had eclipsed my score!! Balls were given to Alex Lim (35 pts), Martin Leung (33 pts) and Victor Diem (33 pts). Victor also generously made a significant donation to be passed to the Club Investment Fund as he didn't have any change!!

The winners were Matt Everett (39 pts) who took the wine and Gerd Warnke (38 pts) who took the chocolates. Every other player enjoyed an early Easter egg! The raffle was won by Tim Brosahan and Mike Cox. (Cheers Ian)

Greens - Coring, Seeding & Sanding

We had a massive coring, seeding and sanding effort from our staff and volunteers this week. All the greens were cored on Monday and the wet(ish) weather on Tuesday delayed the sanding effort until Wednesday afternoon and Thursday. It's heavy and tedious work - so we're hugely appreciative to the 16 volunteers that helped out through the week. The disruption to golfers was kept to a minimum and we'll all benefit from healthier and smoother greens.

Annual Membership Subscriptions

Thanks to all our members who pay their membership subscription fee promptly. It saves our volunteer Committee chasing up debt, and helps us manage our cashflow to keep staff paid and maintain the course standards.

Membership subscriptions are automatically renewed unless the member advises otherwise.  An invoice is submitted to the member detailing the subscription renewal fee and the membership category.  Members are required to advise the Club if they would like to change category at renewal, or if they would not like to renew.

Membership Fees can be paid annually as a single payment prior to commencement of a subscription, or by monthly installments.  Members are obliged to make all payments for the subscription year irrespective of any change in circumstances.

Members paying by monthly installments are required to pay an additional '10% installment fee’ each year which covers the extra administration and cost of cash to the Club.  The installment fee is paid at the start of the subscription year, along with the first installment.  Thereafter payments are due monthly and can be paid by online via the Club website, direct debit, credit card (DotGolf surcharge applies), or in the Clubhouse.
