For those looking for a game and without a tee booking, be at the picnic table by 8.45am for the card draw ahead of a 9am tee time.  This is open to all members and afiliated visitors and it is a great way to meet new golfers and get involved in the Karori Golf Club scene.

This week's starters will be Terry McAlister and Gail Kirkland.

c) 1st Round Westward Ho

All first round matches need to be played by end of play on Sunday 30 July.  An email will be sent to all golfers still to complete their matches.

6. Comings and goings...

a) Robyn is still on leave and returns early August.  Any general club queries should be addressed to club president Mike Suggate.

b) I will be in Te Anau from Thursday returning Monday 30 July.  Match Duties will be handled by Terry McAlister and Gail Kirkland who have been deputised with full decision making powers in the event of any match disputes.

c) It is with regret that we advise that Dan Roe is no longer employed by the club.

We will be moving to restore the greenkeeping team to three by employing another greenkeeper in time for the surge in work required with the spring grass growth.

And that's it for this week.

Good luck to those who have matches this weekend.

Thankyou to Gail and Terry for standing in my stead so that I can travel away for the Fiordland Classic.

Enjoy your golfing week.  Catch you all next week, and "go the football ferns".
