To celebrate the first Matariki Public holiday we are running a competition over the 3 day holiday weekend.

You can play every day but only 1 round will count. The competition is open to all.  Men off the white tees, Women off Yellow Tees.

There will be an entry fee of $5 to help fund the last part of the new practice nets, please tick Matariki Comp when you print your card and pay at the bar either before or after your round !  

The President has put up the prizes which include balls, gloves and hats.

 

 

Please remember to always book a tee time.

 

We had a few issues last weekend, so please keep to your tee time. 

 

If you miss your tee time or are waiting for weather to clear please check with the clubhouse and use the next available free tee time. Do not assume you can tee off whenever. 

 

Last weekend we had members who were late for their tee times or had waited for weather to clear, sending visitors and other members who had booked and were at the 1st tee at their allocated time to other tees causing havoc particularly on Saturday.

This weekend, Friday and Saturday Mornings are very busy

 

 

We are reviewing the use of carts on a daily basis and are allowing limited usage. At this stage members will not be able to book a cart online but will need to email the club at the new email addresses below, we will not take any phone bookings.

The club will soon be dropping the gmail service it has used for a number of years. Mark Reed the committee's IT expert has secured a number of free microsoft licences due to our charitable status and a number of @karoigolf.co.nz email addresses.

A reminder that we have a Competition every wednesday teeing off multi tees at 10.30, there is a disc draw at 10.20 in the clubhouse.

As New Zealand is now in Orange and restrictions are starting to loosen up a few Covid related rules at the club have changed. Proof of Vaccination is no longer required to play golf at Karori or to enter the clubhouse facilities.

Registrations are now open for the Mens and Women 18 Hole Shootout, and Ladies 9 Hole Shootout. To enter the shootout you must be pre-registered, you can register and pay online using the link.
