President’s Message

A warm welcome to 2022 to all, and particularly to the many new members that we have at Karori Golf Club. It's fantastic to see so many people on the course.

We are embarking on a number of projects in the next few weeks with essential maintenance on the Clubhouse, an upgrade of bridges and construction of the new practice nets due to commence. This will cause a bit of disruption around the club but the work will significantly increase the lifespan of the clubhouse, provide safer crossing points across our streams and give us a superb practice facility.

The Committee will meet formally for the first time this year on Monday and we will provide an update of what was discussed in next week's Flash. The committee has decided to meet via Zoom initially this year. Covid restrictions remain and the club policy on mask wearing and vaccine passes is highlighted below. I would also urge everyone who comes to the club to scan in and to make sure they have booked a tee time online.

Happy golfing!

Late Mail

Both home Inter club matches tomorrow have now been postponed due to the forecast weather. We will open up the tee times from 8.06 - 9.30 to bookings.

Covid Requirements

Members are reminded that while in the Red setting masks are required when inside the clubhouse. This includes the downstairs foyer and change room. Members and guests will be warned for not wearing masks, but continued non-compliance will result in being asked to leave.

Masks may only be removed to eat or drink then must be put back on again. These measures are in place to best protect staff and other members.

Please also if you bring friends or family along for a round of golf, it is your responsibility to ensure they are fully vaccinated to avoid them being asked to leave if they cannot provide proof.
