Matt’s Message: (Greenkeeper’s memo)
Notice any holes on the green while you have been out there - take a minute to repair, not only your own, but any other pitch marks that haven’t been repaired. Remember that if your ball is at the back of the green - check the front where you landed!

Wednesday Club
33 regulars enjoyed fine, warm, slight southerly conditions resulting in some good scores in this Par round. Graeme Crocker brought all his muscle-memory to the fore to win with a +7. Saint Kennach, our transplant hero, was second with +4, Chris Pearce, Peter Wilcox and Victor Diem (past or present Presidents) had +3. Ian Patience, Peter Kirkman, and Jon Lyall were all +2. NTP was Keith Gaskin who paid the pig and the most exercised was Dick Adam. Twos were scored by John Markham (on 6) and Chris Pearce ( on 13!!). Raffle prizes were scored by Ian Patience, Marcus Henry and Derek Fitzgibbon.
Women - 9 Hole Interclub
The team enjoyed a win at home in ‘goldilocks’ weather. Some of the women who played the back 9 said how much they enjoyed the course and trees. They were totally genuine about their praise and want to return. George created the freshest sandwiches and sold out of sausage rolls. Thanks to all who made this such a good day.
