All holes will be in play today and this weekend and the booking sheets for this weekend are now open. 

Please be aware that the greens staff will be applying more sand to the holes on the front nine today, if you are on a hole where they are working please move to the next tee. You are still able to apply a score on that hole by using the * key when you enter your score, you will be given a par score for your handicap.

Matt Spraggs our Course Superintendent will leave his position on the 27th April, the committee would like to thank Matt for his 5 years with Karori GC and wish him well in his new position at Manor Park GC. 

ANZAC DAY

The only way to play before 1.30pm  on Monday 25th April is to join in on our ANZAC Day competition. Please register by 5pm on Saturday 23rd so that we can do the draw.

Karori Members will play for the Fraser Smith Memorial Trophy. There are also prizes for Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin.

$10 entry fee covers breakfast, rum and prizes. 

Breakfast will be served at 7.30am and a flag raising ceremony at 8am before the multi-tee start at 8.30am. A draw will be made the day before.

Covid Requirements 

As New Zealand is now in Orange and restrictions are starting to loosen up a few Covid related rules at the club have changed. Proof of Vaccination is no longer required to play golf at Karori or to enter the clubhouse facilities.

Masks are still required to be worn when inside the clubhouse. No Mask, No Service.

2022 Shootout

Registrations are now open for the Mens and Women 18 Hole Shootout, and Ladies 9 Hole Shootout. To enter the shootout you must be pre-registered, you can register and pay online using the link. 

 

ANZAC Day

Registrations are now open for the annual ANZAC Day event, playing for the Fraser Smith Memorial Trophy. Breakfast is provided to all players prior to a dawn service before commencing play. The entry fee is $10 for members and $15 for non-members. All are welcome so you can invite your friends to come along too.

 

HOLE 4 ‘HIGH TEE’ - HOLE IN ONE CHALLENGE

Thanks to our sponsor Richard Reith at Collective - First National Real Estate for putting up a ‘hole in one’ challenge on the 4th hole. If you get a hole in one on the 4th hole during any competition you will win a nice bottle of Champagne! 

Competitions include Interclub, Sunday Club Day, Shootout, Wednesday Club, and Twilight.
