Dear Members

Due to staff covid issues the coring and sanding of the greens is taking longer than expected. In conjunction with Matt Spraggs the Course Superintendent we have taken the decision to close the front nine for tomorrow Wednesday 20th April to allow the greenkeepers to apply more sand to the greens.

On thursday the back nine greens will be cored and therefore the back nine will be closed on Thursday and through Friday. We will review the situation and let members know through the friday flash what the situation is for the weekend.

To help speed up the process we are seeking some volunteers on thursday to help remove the cores from the greens. If you are able to help please contact the club karorigolfclub@gmail.com. We will meet at 9am at the clubhouse. I will communicate any changes tomorrow.

The time sheet for Saturday and Sunday has been closed and will be opened up on Friday when we have a clearer picture of where we are upto.

In the meantime I would like to thank Matt Spraggs our Course Superintendent who has worked tirelessly over the Easter Weekend, on his own, to execute this extremely important course maintenance.
