A fabulous day greeted 40 entries to play for the Nes Beard Trophy, a stableford competition for those over 50 years of age.
Chris Pearce gathered everyone before the Disc Draw, to pay respects for the recent passing of Ken Nankivell. Well remembered as a solid and competitive member of our club for many years. In the early days he was the Club Handicapper and before leaving to live in Waikanae he provided the club with it’s first compressed air “shoe and trundler” cleaner. RIP.
