Good morning Golfers
Because the course is a inconsistent in the quality of it's rough and it is difficult (and will become more difficult) to find your ball in the rough, I have as of yesterday afternoon, introduced "preferred lies" through the green.
You may take a club length placing anywhere on the course with the exception of penalty areas.
Also, all rough is to be treated as "GUR". Therefore a lost ball will not incur a penalty. Take your preferred lie as close as possible to where you believe that your ball lies in the rough and carry on.
I will review this once I return to Wellington from my holidays after 5 January 2024.
This temporary rule will assist you to enjoy your holiday golf a little more over this holiday period.
